"Today", I thought to myself, "I will get my daughter to change some things at the website." She had already texted me that she had no work to do because her employer, the association of bike and scooter sharing organizations (NAFBLA(?)) was closed until the 2nd of January. So, what excuse would she have?

When I couldn't find a "way into" my site, I phoned my provider APlus.net which, as usual, answered right away. Here is exactly (more or less) what I was told by their representative: "Your website is so old and there have been so many upgrades over the years, all of which you have ignored, that if you try to change anything, the site will crash and you will never, ever, ever be able to get it running again. Frankly, it is a miracle that it is running at all."

The good news? Less work for my daughter.

The bad news? The site does contain inaccurate and out-of-date information. (Examples: I stopped doing bankruptcy years ago, not all consultations are free, I do a lot more civil litigation and transactional stuff than I used to, the hair color I had in the picture is no longer the hair color I had back then.)

The upshot? Nobody reads anything, anyway, anymore so, really....does content matter? Shoot me an email or give me a call if you have questions. (561) 624-6306 steveduhl@steveduhl.net steveduhl@hotmail.com
